Dear Councillor, I am writing to ask if you would mind sharing the attached information with your residents. We realise that during the next few months, especially as furlough comes to an end, many more people will be looking for work - many of whom will not be aware of the services and support we can provide. Although our offices are currently closed, we continue to provide free help and advice by phone, email and Zoom and all our courses are available online. We can also provide help for those that need to develop their computer skills, to enable them to search for jobs. We will be looking to open our offices at some point in the future for those that need face to face appointments - once we can ensure it is safe to do so. I welcome any feedback from you regarding additional training / courses or help you think your residents need. We are facing a challenging time and, having supported residents in Milton Keynes for over 40 years, we remain committed to helping those that need us. Read More...
